By accessing or using Yooli World ("the Platform") at yooli.world, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Yooli World.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Yooli World.
By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Platform.
Users must be at least 18 years old to enable monetization features, receive creator payouts, or participate in creator earnings programs.
To access certain features, you must create an account.
You agree to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Yooli World is a collaborative storytelling platform.
Users retain ownership of the content they create, including but not limited to:
World Ownership
Creators retain ownership of the Worlds they create.
World ownership includes control over:
Lore World Ownership
Creators retain ownership of the lore, characters, locations, settings, and worldbuilding materials they create and publish within Lore Worlds.
Universe Ownership
Creators retain ownership of the Universes they create.
Universe ownership does not grant ownership of Worlds added to that Universe. World creators retain ownership of their individual Worlds.
Contributions
Contributors retain ownership of the content they create and contribute, including:
World and Lore World creators may review, approve, reject, organize, feature, archive, or remove contributions within their Worlds. Approval of a contribution does not transfer ownership of that contribution to the World creator.
License to Yooli World
By posting or submitting content to the Platform, you grant Yooli World a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, distribute, promote, and present your content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.
By contributing content to a World or Lore World, you also grant the applicable World creator a non-exclusive license to display and present that content as part of the World experience.
Your Responsibilities

Yooli World may provide tools that allow creators to upload, generate, edit, or enhance content, including:

Yooli World retains a 12% platform fee on creator earnings. Applicable Stripe processing fees may also apply.
Creators are independent users of the Platform and are not employees, contractors, partners, or agents of Yooli World. Yooli World is not responsible for creator tax obligations.
Fan subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis until cancelled.

The Yooli World name, logo, branding, design elements, software, and platform functionality are the intellectual property of Yooli World. You may not use our trademarks without prior written permission. All rights not expressly granted remain reserved.
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Yooli World disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Yooli World shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you to Yooli World during the twelve months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Yooli World and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or permanently ban your account for violations of these Terms, with or without notice, which blocks your access to the Platform.
Suspension or a ban does not automatically remove or anonymize content you have already published; your content remains attributed to you and visible on the Platform unless individually removed by us. Individual pieces of content may be separately removed by us if they violate these Terms or applicable law.
Upon suspension or ban, your right to access and use the Platform ceases immediately.
Provisions that should reasonably survive termination will remain in effect.
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.
Deleting Your Account
When you delete your account, we remove your personal identifying information and disconnect it from content you created. However, because Yooli World is a collaborative platform where other users may build upon, branch from, or interact with worlds you've created, your creative content (worlds, stories, panels, chapters, and related media) is not automatically deleted — it remains on the platform, attributed to an anonymized account, so that collaborative content built by other users is not disrupted. Your account record itself is permanently deleted.
Deleting Specific Content
When you delete a specific world, story, panel, or piece of content you created (without deleting your account), that content — along with associated comments, notifications, and related records — is permanently removed from our systems.
If you would like your creative content fully removed rather than anonymized upon account deletion, contact us at hello@yooli.world to discuss available options.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in New Jersey.
We may modify these Terms at any time.
Material changes will be posted on the Platform with an updated effective date.
Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
